Beach Boys Related - Brian Wilson Handwritten Note and Signed Check with Smile Album Cover. Included is a note to Wilson's assistant Michael Vosse, postmarked October 25, 1966, handwritten by Wilson in blue ink. Written during the period when Wilson was first working on the Smile LP, the note makes an oblique reference to lyrics from the song "Vegetables", reading in full: "Michael, It's all a very simple simon operation. Let's keep energy rates in mind. Eat, sleep, and move around. Brian". The note is accompanied by a personal check for $477.50, dated January 19, 1989 and signed by Wilson in blue ink; as well as a mock-up album cover for the never-completed original Beach Boys version of Smile. (It was eventually completed and released by Wilson as a solo album in 2004.) The note is in Very Fine condition with some wear, and the check and album cover are Very Fine to Excellent.
