Description

Badfinger Band Autographs Display. Expected by many to become the heirs apparent to the Beatles, the members of Badfinger instead fell victim to events that splintered the band and led to the suicides of its two principal members. This display features a set of four receipts, one each signed by Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Joey Molland, and Mike Gibbons in black ink. Each is in Excellent condition and has been matted and framed along with five b&w photos and a letter/contract to the band on Warner Bros. Records letterhead, dated September 29, 1972, detailing payment of $500,000 to the band as part of a fateful deal with the label, and signed by the band's manager, Stanley Polley and a Warner Bros. representative. Overall size is 20.5" and 26.25". Accompanied by James Spence Authentication auction LOA. Requires third party shipping.
