Description:
1956 Fender Telecaster Refinished Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial # 09245. Heavily modified. Body has been stripped and re-finished in an amateur fashion. Shows several extra screw holes from previous modifications, including under the guard. Neck and bridge pickup cavities have been crudely routed/chiseled for humbucker pickup accommodation. Bridge appears to be 1960's Fender. Knobs appear to be period correct. One pot appears to be correct, though the date is not legible. Bridge pickup is older and has splice. Neck pickup is newer. Both have output, but the electronics will need attention. Pickguard is newer. Tuners are changed. Neck has been stripped and re-finished and has a re-fret. Decal is painted on. Sold in "as-is" condition for restoration. Hard case included. Condition: Poor.
